Mary brings extensive expertise in complex spine surgery, orthopedic sports medicine, and anesthesia billing, with particular strengths in denial management, appeals, surgical coordination, and revenue cycle optimization. She also plays a key role in developing and implementing strategies related to Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) and No Surprises Act (NSA) out-of-network billing, helping specialty practices navigate an evolving reimbursement landscape.

Cyrissa Phillips

Team Lead

With more than 25 years of experience in medical billing and revenue cycle management, Cyrissa Phillips brings extensive industry knowledge and a strong commitment to operational excellence to her role as Team Lead at IV Medical Services.

Throughout her career, Cyrissa has developed expertise across the revenue cycle, including claims management, payment posting, denial resolution, insurance verification, accounts receivable management, financial reporting, and complex billing issue resolution. Her broad experience across healthcare specialties allows her to identify challenges, improve workflows, and help ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient revenue cycle operations.

Cyrissa works closely with providers, practice staff, patients, insurance representatives, and IV Medical’s internal teams to resolve complex reimbursement issues and support the financial performance of the practices she serves. Known for her analytical skills, attention to detail, and solutions-oriented approach, she combines deep technical knowledge with a highly collaborative leadership style.

As a Team Lead, Cyrissa is equally committed to developing the people around her. She mentors and supports billing professionals while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Robin Martens

Team Lead

Robin Martens brings more than 25 years of healthcare revenue cycle management experience to her role as Team Lead at IV Medical Services. A member of the IV Medical team for the past decade, she combines extensive industry knowledge with a highly personalized, client-focused approach to revenue cycle management.

Robin has particular expertise in plastic surgery, dermatology, and physiatry, with specialized knowledge in out-of-network reimbursement, surgical fee negotiations, and securing single-case agreements for providers. She leads a team of revenue cycle professionals while providing strategic support to a diverse portfolio of specialty healthcare practices, helping clients navigate complex reimbursement challenges and optimize financial performance.

Prior to joining IV Medical, Robin spent 15 years with PC Advantage, where she advanced from Accounts Receivable Specialist to Client Relations Manager. Her career progression reflects the leadership, relationship-building, and revenue cycle expertise she brings to IV Medical and its clients today.

Robin earned a Bachelor of Arts in Human Relations from High Point University. Known for her commitment to exceptional service, she works closely with providers and their teams to deliver thoughtful, individualized solutions that support both operational and financial success.

Melissa Rienzo, CPC

Team Lead & Authorization Specialist

Melissa Rienzo, CPC, has built her career at IV Medical Services, joining the company in 2017 as an extern through Branford Hall and earning a full-time position after distinguishing herself during the program. Since then, she has advanced through increasingly specialized roles across the revenue cycle, including accounts receivable follow-up, payment posting, authorizations, and team leadership.

Today, Melissa serves as Team Lead and Authorization Specialist, overseeing IV Medical’s Authorization team while managing complex authorizations for high-volume specialty practices. Her broad responsibilities and hands-on revenue cycle experience give her a comprehensive understanding of the process from authorization and charge entry through reimbursement.

After earning her Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credential in 2024, Melissa further expanded her expertise in spinal and orthopedic coding, with a particular focus on sports medicine. Her combination of coding knowledge, authorization expertise, and revenue cycle experience allows her to identify potential reimbursement challenges early and help support accurate, efficient claims management.

Maritza Cintron

Director of Quality Control

Maritza Cintron brings more than 25 years of medical billing and revenue cycle management experience to her role as Director of Quality Control at IV Medical Services. Since joining IV Medical in 2022, she has played a key role in strengthening the processes, standards, and best practices that support consistent, high-quality service across the organization.

As Director of Quality Control, Maritza oversees quality assurance initiatives across IV Medical’s revenue cycle operations, working to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to established procedures. With extensive experience across all aspects of the revenue cycle, she brings a comprehensive perspective to identifying opportunities for improvement and developing solutions that enhance both operational performance and client outcomes.

Maritza develops and implements new protocols, evaluates and refines existing workflows, and conducts ongoing quality audits to help maintain IV Medical’s standards of excellence. She also works closely with leadership and staff to provide guidance, mentorship, and support while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Her initiatives have included the development of performance-based programs designed to recognize excellence, strengthen team engagement, and encourage consistently high standards throughout the organization.

Amanda Noble, CPC

Amanda Noble, CPC, brings more than 19 years of revenue cycle management experience to her role as Team Lead at IV Medical Services. During her six years with IV Medical, she has developed extensive experience supporting specialty surgical practices, with particular expertise in Foot & Ankle and Sports Medicine.

Amanda’s background spans a broad range of specialties, including Orthopedics, Bariatrics, Surgical Oncology, Trauma, and Anesthesia. A Certified Professional Coder (CPC) for more than eight years, she combines extensive medical billing and coding knowledge with specialized expertise in Workers’ Compensation, No-Fault claims, and complex procedure coding.

Known for her exceptional attention to detail, Amanda focuses on maintaining strong accounts receivable performance while helping clients achieve timely, accurate reimbursement. Her ability to effectively manage complex, high-volume revenue cycle operations while maintaining rigorous quality standards makes her a trusted resource for both clients and colleagues.

Amanda is also one of IV Medical’s in-house Epic experts, playing an important role in system onboarding, implementation, workflow development, and staff training. Her combination of revenue cycle expertise, coding knowledge, and technical proficiency allows her to help practices navigate both operational and system-related challenges.

Sarah Caniff, CPC

Senior Account Manager

With more than 27 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, Sarah Caniff, CPC, serves as Senior Account Manager at IV Medical Services, where she has been a key member of the leadership team for more than 17 years. Throughout her tenure, Sarah has played an instrumental role in helping build the foundation of IV Medical and establishing the high standards of service and operational excellence that define the company today.

Sarah oversees specialized teams delivering concierge-level revenue cycle management for leading surgical and specialty practices. Her expertise spans the full revenue cycle, including surgical authorizations, medical coding, denial management, documentation compliance, workflow optimization, accounts receivable performance, and staff development.

With advanced expertise in Spine Surgery, Sarah also brings extensive experience across General Orthopedics, Pain Management, Dermatology, OB/GYN, Pulmonology, Neurology, Behavioral Health, and other specialties. She works closely with physicians and practice leadership to navigate complex reimbursement challenges, strengthen operational performance, and identify opportunities to optimize revenue while maintaining compliance and industry best practices.

James Lukose, MBBS, CCS

Lead Medical Coder

James Lukose, MBBS, CCS, is a Lead Medical Coder at IV Medical Services, bringing a distinctive combination of clinical training and advanced coding expertise to the organization. A former physician, James applies his medical background to the review and interpretation of complex surgical documentation, providing a level of clinical insight that strengthens coding accuracy, documentation quality, compliance, and reimbursement.

Since joining IV Medical in 2019, James has supported leading physicians across highly specialized areas of medicine, with particular expertise in Sports Medicine and Surgery, Spine Surgery, and Hand Surgery. He conducts comprehensive coding and documentation reviews with a strong focus on complete charge capture, accurate code assignment, timely charge entry, and efficient claims submission.

Working closely with physicians, James reviews complex surgical documentation and provides guidance designed to improve documentation quality while supporting accurate and compliant coding. He also serves as a trusted internal resource to IV Medical’s teams, providing expertise in coding, clinical documentation, and regulatory requirements.

Prior to joining IV Medical, James served as Lead Medical Coder for Medical Oncology and Primary Care at a healthcare organization in New York. He earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree and is a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) through the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).
